Rombouts Difference

At Rombouts we still slowly roast all our coffee beans for around 18 minutes. We avoid modern roasting techniques which take a fraction of the time as we believe traditional slow roasting gives our coffees a better, more fully rounded flavour. It may take a little longer but we believe it tastes a lot better!

Whatever you require, we have over a century's worth of coffee experience to ensure we meet your needs.

As well as our long and distinguished heritage resulting in generations of knowledge, our three basic principles set us apart from other coffee companies:

  • We know coffee - and we permanently monitor changing trends in consumer's drinking habits in order to respond to requirements
  • We adhere to a strict respect of traditional quality enabled by the most up-to-date production techniques
  • We continuously strive for creativity in the search for innovation and improvement

By channelling our expertise through these principles we were able to bring innovations such as the now ubiquitous ready-to-use disposable individual coffee filter to the market in 1964.

The artisan traditions of roasting and blending are core to the fresh, rich, dark and stimulating flavour and aroma of Rombouts coffee. Each Rombouts moment is rooted in over one hundred years of heritage and experience - over one hundred years of an overriding passion for coffee.
