Studies show that by drinking up to six cups of coffee a day can help prevent diabetes.

As with Coffee and Heart Disease, scientists’ studies have proved over the last several years that coffee does not trigger Type 1 diabetes.
Another study in 2004 showed that by drinking up to six cups per day can reduce chances of developing type 2 diabetes by up to 50%.
A study, reported by the BBC, reports that the effects are not even down to caffeine, as decaf coffee had a similar effect. Doctors advise that eating a balanced diet and exercising reguarly are still extremely important, but you can feel happier sticking the kettle on at the end (or beginning) of a busy day!
