Café Glace

Coffee with a couple of scoops of ice cream utterly delicious on a hot summer’s day!

Method

  • Prepare a strong cup of coffee and pour into a blender.
  • Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream add the milk.
  • Blend in a liquidizer until the ice cream is mixed in thoroughly and forms a compact mousse.
  • Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately decorate with a dusting of cocoa

Method

  • Why not try blending your Espresso with 2 teaspoons of your favourite chocolate powder and Hey Presto! you will have an iced Mocha to enjoy!
  • Also you can experiment with different flavours of ice cream. Cookies and cream and mint chocolate chip ice cream are our particular favourites.

Ingredients

  • Cup of strong coffee or a double Espresso (60ml of Espresso Coffee)
  • 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 5 Fl oz (0.15l) full fat, skimmed or semi skimmed milk
  • Cocoa powder for decoration
