Coffee Liqueur

A coffee liqueur is perfect for finishing off a delicious meal and very easy to make so why not give it a go?

Makes: 600ml

Method

Finely chop the chocolate and stir it into the freshly made coffee until it is completely melted. Leave to cool completely. Pour into a blender and add the condensed milk, vanilla extract and whisky. Blend for a couple of minutes until totally smooth and silky.

Pour into a jug and chill for several hours removing any skin that forms. Pour into a sterilized bottle and label. Once made the bottle can be kept refrigerated for up to two weeks.

Ingredients

  • 175ml strong filter coffee
  • 15g dark chocolate
  • 397g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 175ml Irish whisky
