Bean To Cup
The delicious cup of stimulation that infuses its rich aroma through your Rombouts moment takes a massive amount of time and expertise to achieve. Here’s how:
The Cup
Before it gets to the cup there’s one last process the now roasted beans go through – grinding.
- Using metal micrometer grinding cylinders, the beans are crushed, taking great care not to overheat them which can result in a bitter burnt taste
- The cylinders are graded, each one producing a finer grain than the last and the beans pass through these processed until the required grind is achieved
- Once ground, the coffee must be vacuum packaged or gas flushed in order to keep it as fresh as possible
- For the best Rombouts coffee, follow the instructions on the packet, however, there are a few basic rules
- Ensure that your coffee cup is clean and that the water is fresh
- Stir the coffee in your cup (even if you take it black and without sugar) to ensure the even distribution of all the flavours
- Enjoy your coffee as soon as it has been prepared – reheating it later will impair the flavour
Now you have your perfect cup of coffee, enjoy your Rombouts moment. Linger and make it last. See My Rombouts moment for some ideas.
